Compensation Protection Service

Lasting Powers of Attorney

This service can be arranged at the same time as drawing up the Trust. A Lasting Power of Attorney is a document under which your can appoint someone to look after their property/finances outside a Compensation Protection Trust (Personal Injury Trust, Special Needs Trust or Disabled Trust).

Why a Lasting Power of Attorney can be vital

If you become mentally or physically incapable, even though you may be married, a spouse may still need a Court Order to enable them to sign on behalf of the incapable person, if they do not have a Lasting Power of Attorney. Terms are agreed individually according to need.
