Our Compensation Protection Services, including the dedicated Trust Administration Unit, are based at our Sheffield office.
The central location of the unit helps us to serve clients throughout England and Wales. Our address and other contact details are on the Contact Us page.
Solicitors' time is expensive and frankly solicitors do not always make the best trust administrators. Trust administration is quite different from providing legal services. So here at Wrigleys our solicitors just deal with the legal aspects which require their particular expertise, leaving Trust Administrators to oversee administrative matters.
Our solicitors usually deal with:
Legal advice relating to the founding and proper running of the trust.
Drafting trust deeds and related documents.
Attendances at trustees meetings or similar, unless otherwise agreed.
Dealing with property related issues such as property purchases.
More complex trust related decision-making.
Helping obtain and maintain a suitable investment strategy.
Complex benefits related issues.
Related legal issues, such as will making.
Matters relating to the avoidance of conflicts of interest and professional conduct.
Our Trust Administrators usually deal with:
Day to day client or third party liaison which is not directly related to any of the above.
Trust account queries.
The arranging or making of payments or bank transfers.
Tax and other trust related information gathering.
Simple benefits related issues.
Tax returns.
Preparation of trust accounts.
The administration of investment related paperwork.
These sorts of matters are handled within the Trust Administration Unit at the correct level. For example the Head of Trust Administration may deal with more complex or high value matters whilst a more junior staff member would deal with less complex matters such as the transfer of funds.
We expect a high degree of diligence from all our staff at every level. We like to make sure everything is progressed quickly and efficiently whoever is dealing with it.
No.
Financial advisers advise on investments. We do not. We are neither qualified nor authorised to do so.
We often work with financial advisers to help our clients. We also frequently deal with investment related paperwork. But we are entirely independent of all firms of financial advisers and cannot comment on the investment related content of their advice.
No.
We are not in the business of 'selling' you anything other than high quality legal services.
We do not receive or accept any referral fees or commission payments. Our services are not subsidised by the commission generated from financial transactions. We believe this is to your advantage as we have no investment related 'axe to grind'.If you need help in choosing a financial adviser with experience of handling Compensation Protection Trusts then please ask us.
